Castle is hard to find these days on TV, but don’t worry, we got you covered!
Castle is on your TV, you just have to search for it
Castle is not currently available for streaming on-demand, outside of TNT. But it is airing in most markets on broadcast channels. So check your local listings for time and channel. And right now, it appears the show is only airing on Fridays from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. on TNT. It’s in season eight if anyone cares.
Why isn’t Castle available on streaming services like Hulu or Netflix?
The easiest answer could be that it is a strong syndication performer, even at this stage where it’s been shuffled around so much on TNT in the past year. Also, it the show is no longer producing new episodes, which limits the marketability for the show. While some shows, such as Scandal and How to Get Away with Murder are available via Netflix, they were stronger performers ratings wise to warrant older seasons being made available.
It comes down to the money in the end. While Castle was an early money maker for the studio, it’s no longer producing the millions of dollars it was when it was on the air er go, it’s not worth making available on a streaming service.
There’s always the DVDs to enjoy the show. And it appears to be the only way to enjoy it on a your schedule sort of way. Unless you’re like me and keep your favorite episodes on the DVR so you don’t have to dig out the DVDs.
