Update: The Rookie final numbers for episode two “Crash Course” are 0.8 and 4.54 million viewers.

THE ROOKIE—ABC’s The Rookie saw a slight drop in week two. It was down two-tenths to 0.8 from the premiere’s 1.0. Total viewership was also down a million to 4.43m viewers from the previous week’s final adjusted numbers.

The final adjusted numbers for same-day viewing was 1.0 with 5.43M viewers.

DVR numbers should be released next week.


  1. Like the Show and the Actors, but way to many commercials for me to stay with it? ABC should take lessons from NBC on Commercials to give their good shows a chance?

  2. The commercials for the show are no more or less than other shows. Most network one-hour long broadcast shows are about 42 minutes. Additionally, ABC dramas use a six-act structure. That means five commercial breaks, each averaging about three minutes long.

    Additionally COMMERCIALS have absolutely NOTHING to do with the success of a show (or lack there of).
