Summer: Kill Shot

A sniper on a killing spree is terrorizing New York City. With the clock ticking down to the next murder and nothing to go on except a killer with no apparent motive but to instill terror, this could prove the team's toughest case yet. The hunt is made even more complicated when Beckett begins to experience increasingly strong moments of PTSD - moments she tries hard to hide from Castle and the detectives.

Recap — Hollander’s Woods

"Hollander's Woods" was a double-ending episode. It can serve as a soft season finale with no major issues to resolve in the premiere or as a series finale. It was a satisfying end the season. The strongest one since "Always" in season four.

Recap: The Nose

“The Nose” is one of those episodes that has potential and makes a good selling point at the very end. Stephanie Weir (MadTV) guest stars as a witness with a unique ability: a keen sense of smell that makes her a recluse in life but learns something in the end.

Recap: Time Will Tell

A suspect (Joshua Gomez) in a grisly murder claims he has traveled back in time to prevent terrible events from unfolding.

Recap: I, Witness

The episode is better than "Private, Eye Caramba" but not nearly as good as "Castle, P.I." Unlike the previous episodes this season, this is the first episode I rewatched for the fun of it. And I felt better about it the second time around.

Recap: Sleeper

Castle has meet its Jaws. And in retrospect, Jaws 2, 3, and 4 in the process. I would like say I was surprised by this but I’m not. “Sleeper” feels more like an attempt at sneaking in the Derrick Storm project than a Castle episode.
