Recap: Kill Switch

"Kill Switch" had the makings of a good episode but failed in the execution. The episode was Esposito's "Always" moment where he realizes what's important in life. The problem is that the lack sufficient character development in both Epsosito and Lanie over the past several seasons, making the episode feel awkward.

Recap: Once Upon a Time in the West

Trying to get into this episode was like a long drive with a backseat driver at the end of the journey, you wanted to kill someone. I found myself wanting to fast forward through parts. Castle and Beckett may be married at last. While the episode delivered on the promise of them getting married, the story overall felt a bit off if not the standard gimmicky that's becoming a norm for the show this season. Recap: Montreal

In the second episode, Castle and Beckett are struggling to find there way back after Castle's return. This episode while slightly better than than "Driven," still leaves a lot of open questions, something that could drive casual viewers away from the show because they have no idea what's going on.
