In "Get a Clue," Castle and Beckett investigatin the ritualistic murder of an accountant and learn there's more than meets the eye to her death.

Recap: Bad Santa

So much potential wasted on the development of a relationship that fizzled and the lack of general good storytelling sent this story into the basement.

Recap: Meme is Murder

“Meme is Murder” is a cautionary tale on cyberbullying to sharing too much information online. The social message with this episode is loud and clear: be careful of what you share online and once it’s out on the world wide web, it’s there to stay—forever.

Recap: Law & Boarder

Castle and Beckett enter the world of extreme sports when they investigate the murder of a rising skateboarding star.

Recap: Clear & Present Danger

Gone are the days of the smart and intelligent Castle stories. I miss those days where the cases made sense. Much like with the two preceding episodes, I didn’t hate it. I didn’t love it. The story didn’t work for me.

Recap: The Wrong Stuff

The best way to describe this episode is part Alien versus Mission to Mars versus 2001: A Space Odyssey. I’m not a Firefly fan so I can’t speak if there were any references there or not.

Recap: Resurrection

They're baaaaaaaaaack! "Resurrection" features the return of psycho killer duo of Dr. Kelly Nieman and Jerry Tyson. It was a highly dramatic episode that doesn't pull any punches.

Recap: Montreal

In the second episode, Castle and Beckett are struggling to find there way back after Castle's return. This episode while slightly better than than "Driven," still leaves a lot of open questions, something that could drive casual viewers away from the show because they have no idea what's going on.

Summer: A Deadly Affair

The third season opens with Castle MIA after spending the summer in the Hamptons with his ex-wife publisher Gina. And when the murder of a victim leads the team to an apartment, they find Castle standing over the murder suspect with a gun in his hand.

Recap: Sleeper

Castle has meet its Jaws. And in retrospect, Jaws 2, 3, and 4 in the process. I would like say I was surprised by this but I’m not. “Sleeper” feels more like an attempt at sneaking in the Derrick Storm project than a Castle episode.
