When an up-and-coming rock star’s dead body is found staged in a scene straight out of her hit music video, Castle and Beckett delve into the world of obsessed fans, sleazy managers and jealous band members. But it’s only when Alexis uncovers the true meaning behind the lyrics of the final song that clues to the killer’s identity begin to surface.

Target

In the first of a two-episode story arc, Castle & Beckett begin a murder investigation that also exposes a plot to kidnap the daughter of a wealthy Middle Eastern businessman. Dylan Walsh ("Nip/Tuck") guest stars as FBI Agent Harris, an even-keeled professional brought in to help find the kidnappers.

7×06 — Time of Our Lives

A murder investigation launches Castle into what seems to be an alternate universe where he's never met Kate Beckett. Castle has to convince Beckett, Esposito and Ryan—now complete strangers—to let him participate in their investigation so he can find his way back to his own world. This inspires Castle & Beckett to finally take a trip to the altar.

To Live and Die in L.A.

While investigating the shooting death of her ex-partner in New York, Beckett comes to believe the suspect has fled to Los Angeles. Against orders, she travels to L.A., going renegade to track down the killer, with Castle unexpectedly along for the ride. As they dig deeper into the motives, they uncover a trail that leads from a rooftop pool in Hollywood to the sandy beach of Santa Monica. Along the way, they visit the set of the "Heat Wave" movie (based on Castle's book) and enlist the cast to help break the case. But as they get closer to apprehending the killer, Castle begins to wonder whether Beckett is out for justice -- or revenge.

8×21 — Hell to Pay

Castle thinks the Antichrist maybe involved in the death of an axe wielding psychiatric inmate who drops dead in the P.I. office.

8×22 — Crossfire

With their best lead in hand, Castle and Beckett are ready to take on LokSat. But an unforeseen twist puts their case – and their lives – in jeopardy.

8×20 — Much Ado About Murder

When a movie star turn stage actor is mysteriously killed, Castle and Beckett go backstage and discover he had more than his lines to worry about.

7×12 — Private Eye Caramba

When a young Latin telenovela actress is murdered, Beckett and the team delve into a case that is as flamboyant and full of intrigue as any telenovela.

7×13 — I, Witness

Castle is hired to uncover if a client’s husband is having an affair, but the case takes a shocking turn when Castle witnesses the client’s murder – by her husband. But with no proof that the killing took place, Castle and Beckett must investigate to expose the truth.
