Nearly two years after her messy and public ousting from ABC’s Castle, Stana Katic isn’t holding grudges. She’s pretty grateful about her contribution and time on the show.
Stana Katic’s thriller Absentia will premiere on Amazon Prime in 2018. After premiering this fall overseas, Sony Pictures Television and Amazon have inked a deal to bring the series to the streaming service.
There’s a good chance Stana Katic will return to U.S. TV screens this year in the limited series Absentia. It’s produced by Sony’s AXN which is a foreign market channel but does not broadcast in the U.S. In order for the series to air in the United States, a channel or streaming will need to purchase the rights. My sources tell me Sony is actively looking for a partner.
