Stana Katic’s Absentia will drop on Amazon Prime in many locations, including the U.S. on July 17! This makes it the earliest the show has been made available to U.S. viewers, only a few weeks after its international premiere. Like before, all ten episodes will be available.
This is probably because of new content starved providers (like Amazon).
The pandemic has made it hard for networks and streaming services to provide fresh shows and movies to people who are in quarantine or have nothing to do because everything else is canceled.
Season three picks up not long after season two’s ending (we won’t spoil it, sorry). Katic’s alter ego, FBI Agent Emily Byrne, is in the final days of her suspension when her life is turned upside down and threatens to destroy everything she’s worked so hard to rebuild. But as Emily and her ex-husband, FBI Agent Nick Durand get further involved, a bigger conspiracy is unveiled. Emily puts together a risky plan to solve it all.
Everyone, well almost everyone, from season two is back for season three plus some new faces.
